As my favorite holiday approaches, I am quite giddy with joy over it. I LOVE THANKSGIVING! It allows me to stop and meditate on ALL that I have to be grateful for; and as Christans, we have more than our fair share in which to be thankful! This is a gift that I made for my Guardian Angel (secret sister). I wanted to give her something different, but yet, a little something that she could have for every day of the month.
Items needed:
A beautiful jar with a lid (I found mine at Macys.)
4 - pieces of 8.5 x 11 scrapbook paper - it looks much nicer if one side has a print on it and the other side is plain
1 piece of plain scrapbook paper (for a tag)
A computer
A printer
Scissors or rotary cutter
31 Days of Praise document (download here)
First, print the attached 31 Days of Praise sheets on your 4 pieces of printed scrapbook paper; make sure that you are printing these on the non-decorative side. There is one slip of paper for each day of the month. Just be sure that if the month that you are giving your gift in does not have 31 days, that you take out slips accordingly.
Cut the slips of paper as evenly as possible.
Fold slips and insert slips into jar.
Make a tag to attach to the jar. I have made a tag for you, which is attached to the 31 Days of Praise Sheets (sheet # 5 & 6). You just have to insert your plain paper to print the outside of the tag (page 5), and then flip your paper over to print the inside of the tag (page 6). I have included an example of a tag that I made for my jar.
There you have it! A 31 Days of Praise Jar! This makes a fabulous gift, and what better way to bring glory and honor to Christ than through our praise. "O give thanks unto the Lord for he is good, because his mercy endureth forever." Psalms 118:1

Beautiful Sarah !! Again your many God given talents are coming forth! You are such a huge blessing to all - I love you and thankful for the example you are to us.
Just imagine if everyday was a praise day! This is a great way to teach children to think on praise-worthy things every day. Great idea Sarah.
We can never praise God enough for the many blessings He sends our way! Thank you for sharing. Laurie
